Folders of construction project volumes and a few hundred drawings are part of every designer's and builder's daily routine. Saving drawings and documents, transmitting them, handing over assignments and recording construction errors are issues on all projects. As construction becomes more complex, specialised collaboration tools - construction project management systems - are gaining attention.
The aim of this workshop is to introduce the standards, recommendations and requirements of VMS and its application in construction project management. To see in practice the benefits of using VMS for different project sizes and phases. To familiarise yourself with the requirements of VMS in Latvia and Scandinavia. Analyse the necessary investments in technology, additions to human resources and changes in processes.
